Science on Trial was formed as a direct response to the Lucy Letby trial in the UK.  We can see science being used as a tool of injustice around the world, and this case is but one example.  When science enters a court of law, it can easily be distorted. Our aim is to demonstrate what real science should look like and develop proper standards for the way science is used in the criminal-justice system.  Where possible, we will shine a light on those instances when science is used beyond its limitations and we will work fearlessly and tirelessly to ensure truthfulness in science.
